7 Easy Date Ideas

Updated: Feb 14, 2020

Ever get the urge to do a spontaneous date? Have random free time without the kids and want to connect with your partner? Below are 7 Easy Date Ideas that require little planning!

Take a Hike

One of our goals this year to spend more time outside. Nothing beats fresh air and natural Vitamin D. Hiking is also a great way to disconnect from technology and the demands of daily life. Regardless if it's an easy hike or rock climbing, you're sure to make great memories with your love!

Grab Some Food

Breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner or dessert, either way everyone has to eat! Try a new restaurant in town, cook a new dish, or order in. We like to use Trip Advisor or Yelp to find the best restaurants near our location. We also keep an eye out for local recommendations online. If you want to stay in, make it extra special by lighting some candles and turning on your favorite tunes!

Catch a Flick

Probably one of the easiest on the list. With streaming devices being prevalent in so many house holds, it's easier than ever to watch or rent a movie and cuddle on the couch. Want to get out and about? Head to the movie theater and catch a romcom or action movie (whatever tickles your fancy)! Check out our movie questions to have a great conversation post movie, we shared some of our answers (they are definitely entertaining)!

Something Fun

There are endless activities you can do with your partner. Mini golf or bumper cars. Laser tag or a museum. Bowling or a comedy show. Hit the town and where that perfume/cologne your partner loves. Where something a little extra special and spend the day laughing away!

Shop Till You Drop

We are one of those couples that loves to shop! We randomly stop at stores that look interesting, as well as regularly hit our favorite spots. It could be bargain hunting for a new couch, or treating yourselves to some expensive tops (even matching ones if that's your thing)!

Room Service

One thing we do not do enough is breakfast in bed. Sometimes that extra time in bed is just what you need to recharge from a long week. One or both of you can wake up and make a yummy brekkie, or use a food delivery service to make life that much easier. Turn on a show, read the paper, or just enjoy each other's company.

Check Mate

One of our favorite pastimes is playing games! Board games or video games, either way, it's fun to have a little bit of healthy competition. You can even up the ante and the winner can get one of our Winner Coupons to redeem now or later!

No matter what you decide to plan, just remember, quality time is most important.

With love,
